Handwritten Greeting Card with your order - Meyer Lemon
Piper sylvaticum has medium-sized leaves with silver patterning that turns pink under higher light conditions, adding to this rare Piper’s beauty. Native to East India and China, Piper sylvaticum is a tropical, forest-dwelling climber that’s well suited for indoor cultivation, as it tolerates lower light levels and drier conditions. It can be trained on a stake or trellis, or even be encouraged to climb around a window with support.
Special Note: Piper plants naturally excrete small, round grains, or growth sugars, on the undersides of the leaves. While sometimes confused for insect eggs or a sign of disease, these sugar grains are actually a sign of normal, healthy growth, and are nothing to be worried about.
Available in a 2.5" pot.
