It flowers on the current season’s growth and has the traditional passion flower blossoms with white petals and sepals and deep purple and white filaments. The purple fruit has a tart flavor that sweetens as it ripens. The fruit matures 60-80 days after pollination. Peak fruiting needs 80-85° F temperatures with high humidity. It can be easily overwintered indoors in zones where it is not hardy.
