Sweet Pea Shrub ‘Petite Butterfly’ (Polygala fruticosa)

Free flowering ‘Petite Butterfly’ puts on quite a floral show during its spring through summer bloom season. The two-toned flowers of fuchsia outer petals and white centers resemble small sweet pea blossoms. Its compact rounded growth habit makes it an ideal plant for containers and its gray-green foliage adds a nice dimension to any garden bed even when it’s not in flower. ‘Petite Butterfly’ also grows well under cooler conditions and will flower off-season with enough sunlight.
