Zebra Plant Calathea (Calathea zebrina)
Grown for its velvety-looking leaves, Zebra Plant Calathea has light green leaves with distinctive dark green striping throughout the entire leaf and a light green central leaf vein. The underside of the leaf is purple. Native to Brazil, Calathea Zebrina thrives in warm temperatures, high humidity and indirect, dappled light. It received the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit for outstanding excellence in garden decoration due to its exceptional leaves.
