The most intensely fragrant orchid we’ve grown, Waianae Leopard ‘Ching Hua’ has large bronze flowers highlighted with burgundy spots on the petals and bright fuchsia lips. Mature plants have 6-8 flowers per spike and their waxy texture makes them very long lasting with each bloom surviving for a month. The bloom season is late summer or fall. We ship blooming size plants not necessarily in spike.

• They grow from rhizomes with the newest growth creating  the next flowers or re-bloom.• High light is one of the keys to creating flower buds to form.• Grow in some direct sunlight.• Maintain root health. Adhere to proper watering.• Allowing the potting media to dry down between waterings  and then thoroughly saturate.• These varieties need higher light than Phalaenopsis.
