I received a very nice looking tree in a small 3 inch pot. Unfortunately the soil had dried out in the shipping process and the tree was starting to loose a few leaves when i got it. I received it the day after Columbus Day so it may have taken over a week in the shipping process. Maybe you can add something to the pot when you ship it so it does not dry out fast. Thank you.
Hi George,
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We’re glad to hear your tree arrived looking nice, though we’re sorry the soil had dried out during shipping. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention—extended transit times, especially around holidays, can sometimes cause this issue.
We’ll share your suggestion with our shipping team as we’re always looking for ways to improve packaging and plant protection. If your tree continues to lose leaves or doesn’t bounce back, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@logees.com, and we’ll be happy to assist.
Sincerely,
The Logee's Team
beautiful plant
The tree was packaged well and arrived very healthy. It seems to be settling in well to its new location as well.
Not sure what the 1-3' growth size is about...does any citrus stay that small? Ignoring that detail, ordered in 2019 and it is budding for the first time this year (2023). Generally a healthy tree so far but did arrive with the main taproot firmly wrapped around the base. I did not try to unwrap because it was firmly in this position but 4 years on, I'm concerned it will lead to girdling. This taproot has sent out multiple suckers multiple times a year, so keep an eye out for that. I suppose a side effect of shipping tree seedlings. Otherwise, it has grown into a healthy tree with proper watering and fertilizer. Tree is over 6' tall within 4 years.
