Candle Tree (Rothmannia capensis)
The fragrance is sweet and reminiscent of gardenia. The form is unique with 3" wide flowers that stand upright on the branches. We are reminded of days gone by when flickering candles would bedeck a Christmas tree. Another unique aspect is that the fragrance lasts even after the flowers have been picked and dried. Blooms spring through fall. NOTE: Plants are seed grown and are slow growers.
