The intensity of the fragrance varies according to time of day and environmental conditions. At times, there will be no scent, and other times there is a sweet fragrance. The scent can be somewhat elusive but pleasing when you smell it. It has an upright and bushy habit and is very easy to grow. With little maintenance, the Chinese Perfume Plant becomes an enduring friend.
