This spectacular new Colocasia ‘Pharaoh’s Mask’ has stunning dark green leaves with deep purple veins that are slightly higher than the leaves giving a 3D effect. The young leaves start out green with a dark midvein and the unusual veining gets more pronounced as the leaves mature. The leaf edges curl back and the stems are black providing the gardener a rare plant that has unusual shape, color and texture. ‘Pharaoh’s Mask’ has a clump-forming growth habit so it’s ideal for use in the summer garden as an accent plant or as a patio container for lots of eye-catching appeal. It can be wintered over in zone 8 with heavy mulching. In northern zones, bring the plant inside during cold weather. ‘Pharaoh’s Mask’ is sure to be a favorite in your summer garden.
