Deep red, double flowers with white throats put on a stunning floral display during the spring, summer and fall months. Shiny, dark green leaves complement the red flowers. ‘Flame’ thrives in warm and sunny environmental conditions. This is a grafted, ready-to-bloom, one-year-old plant with a thickened caudex.

Madi I bought this back in January and have had it under a grow light till it got warm out. Then I’ve had it outside (they love the heat btw) and mine has a ton of buds coming in with my first bloom opening today. I was surprised it was able to bloom so soon after I got it. My blooms are a little darker than the ones in the picture but they have the lighter middle and two rows of petals just like the one that’s listed. Overall I’m very happy.

Christopher Came with nice budding but has spider mites. It has declined quite a bit but i have it on a spray schedule in quarantine. Hoping it wasn't in any of the other plants in this shipment.

You shouldn’t have to treat a newly received plant for pests. Even though we do carefully inspect plants before shipping, spider mites can occasionally go undetected at very low levels and may flare up under shipping and acclimation stress.
