Hardy Hens and Chicks Colorockz® Blushing Garnet is the latest introduction in the Colorockz® collection. The dark burgundy red, nearly-black, rosette has fiery red juvenile leaves creating a sensational color contrast. In cooler temperatures, the rosettes are reddish-purple with green accents. The fleshy leaves grow in the classic rosette shape surrounded with young plants or chicks. It flowers late spring to summer. Grow in full to partial sun in a rock garden, patio container or even in an indoor windowsill pot. It’s a water-wise, drought tolerant plant.
