Originally imported from Afghanistan, the ‘Salavatski’ Pomegranate is a cold hardy variety that can be grown as far north as zone 6B with winter protection. Reddish-orange flowers appear in late spring and early summer with fruit ripening in late fall. It’s a self-fertile variety so no cross pollinator is required. The large red fruit have thick skin and crunchy, juicy seeds inside that can be eaten fresh in salads or made into juice.

I love this plant and so does everyone that sees it
I love this plant and so does everyone that sees it. It is doing good--starting to grow. I
have it in a large pot on a 4-wheel dolly so I
can pull it in the garage at night.

Healthy Plants and Great Shipping
This is my first time ordering tropical plants and I opted for a Pomegranate and Hibiscus plant. They arrived together and looked amazing right out of the box. They were extremely well packaged. I up-potted them according to the directions and they are thriving. The Pom may take another year or two to produce but I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
