Haworthia emelyae (Haworthia emelyae)
Because of their ornate and colorful leaves, Haworthias are often referred to as gems of the plant world. Emelyae is a low-growing, rosette-shaped succulent from South Africa with slightly transparent dark green leaves, lending to its glistening appearance. The leaves have pink veins, rough green warts, and toothy leaf margins. Allow it to dry completely between waterings. In summer, small white flowers emerge from a central stalk. Highly sought after by collectors, this is a very rewarding plant to grow.
