Helleborus Gold Collection® ‘Champion’ PP (Helleborus x ericsmithii hybrid)
Also called Snow Rose or Lenten Rose for their early blooming habit, Helleborus ‘Champion’ has upward and forward-facing flowers that start as rosy buds and open to large creamy-white flowers with pink on the undersides of the petals. The dark green, leathery foliage is evergreen and disease resistant. ‘Champion’ is a prolific bloomer that’s long flowering and it’s often the first hardy perennial to bloom in the spring garden. The Gold Collection® Helleborus are ideal for containers or plant outside as soon as the ground is workable since Helleborus foliage and root growth are active during the cool season but go dormant in the warm summer months. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil. Helleborus are hardy, low maintenance perennials for zones 4-8.
