Helleborus Gold Collection Surprise
There was a mix-up between two varieties of Helleborus: Helleborus Gold® Collection Ice N’Roses® Red PP and Helleborus Gold Collection® ‘Champion’ PP. Ice N’Roses® Red has deep-red, outward-facing flowers that bloom from late December into Spring. ‘Champion’ has rosy buds that open to large, creamy-white flowers with pink on the undersides of the petals. Both are hardy perennials that are usually the first to bloom in the spring garden. The dark green, leathery foliage is evergreen and disease resistant. The Gold Collection® Helleborus are ideal for containers or plant outside as soon as the ground is workable since Helleborus foliage and root growth are active during the cool season but go dormant in the warm summer months. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil. You will be getting one surprise plant from the Gold Collection®.
