Lingonberry 'Red Sunset' PP (Vaccinium vitis-idaea)
Red Sunset' creates a beautiful, hardy ground cover with edible fruit. The highly flavorful fruit is not as tart as a cranberry and it has two fruiting seasons each year: one in July/August and another in September/October. Lingonberries are classified as a "super fruit" for their health-giving benefits. It is partially self-fertile so you will have some fruit if you only plant one variety. Hardy in zones 3-7.
