This stunning tropical from Southeast Asia tolerates moderate light and dry conditions making it perfect for indoor growing. Myriantha is one of the easiest Medinillas to grow putting on a spectacular display of blooms that lasts for months. The large umbels of light pink blossoms emerge in clusters from the broad deep green leaves. As they mature, they cascade down with numerous small flowers opening over many weeks. The flowers are followed by pink berries that eventually turn a dark purple.

Special Note: Special Note: Medinilla plants naturally excrete small, round grains, or growth sugars, on the undersides of the leaves. While sometimes confused for insect eggs or a sign of disease, these sugar grains are actually a sign of normal, healthy growth, and are nothing to be worried about.
