Medinilla ‘Royal Intenz’ PP (Medinilla magnifica hybrid)
After years of intensive breeding, a Dutch-based nursery has introduced this very special medinilla. ‘Royal Intenz’ has large, dark pink (nearly red) flowers that bloom in spring and summer. The large green leaves grow in a fan shape, so it makes an ideal plant for a partially sunlit windowsill. It’s best to pot it up into a deep 6” or 8” pot to give the plant adequate room for growth and optimal blooming potential.
