Banded in lavender and white, the crinkled filaments engulf each flower and a pleasant fragrance accompanies the floral beauty. With P.incarnata as a parent, it can take subfreezing temperatures, reportedly being hardy to zone 8 with protection. When grown in warm temperatures and good light it never stops blooming or rests like our hardy native ‘Maypop.’
