Velvet Love Impatiens (Impatiens morsei)
Both the flowers and the foliage of this south China species bring eye-catching color and allure to the container garden. With an upright habit, the deep green foliage is highlighted with pink midribs and pink stems. The 1” white flowers are marked with orange and yellow and they bloom most of the year. Best yet, it is easy to grow like most in this genus, preferring partial sun to shade.
